Challenger Travel
In 2024, WIX SQUARED introduces the ‘Wix World Challenges’, inspired by the true spirit of adventure, with bespoke itineraries that are full of exciting challenges designed to connect travellers more deeply with their destination. Throughout their journeys, guests will face a series of tasks to uncover cultural details, learn more about gastronomic traditions and take on adventures that will leave them with a great sense of achievement, as well as plenty of stories to share. Rolling out throughout 2024, guests can choose from a selection of cultural, adventurous, and gastronomic itineraries across the WIX SQUARED portfolio, kick starting with Sri Lanka available to book from January 2024.
Holidays designed for families with preschool children, based on Alex Wix’ personal experiences travelling with her own young children. Highlight destinations include Sri Lanka, Morocco, The Maldives and Dubai. With Alex’s expert knowledge, she has curated a selection of destinations as well as carefully chosen travel times to work around nap times, family friendly guides, age-appropriate activities, baby-sitting services and family friendly rooms.
With an increased desire to go ‘off grid’ without losing complete access to luxury – there is a rise in ‘Laid Bare’ luxury experiences, such as the one-of-a-kind desert island experience in the Komodo Islands in Indonesia. With no ‘standard’ hotel service – guests are encouraged to live as a modern Robinson Crusoe – staying in a beachside treehouse, with a new age stone kitchen where they can: learn the art of survival with fishing and gardening for produce – try their hand at archery with tribal bows and arrows, go on a mangrove trek, hunt for crystal rocks – enjoy snorkelling on the house reef, stand-up paddle boarding and picnic under the only olive grove in Indonesia. ROCS ISLAND is located a one-hour flight from Bali followed by a twenty-minute boat ride to the border of the Komodo National Park.

Micro Cruises
The desire to cruise on more intimate boats, taking guests to lesser-known parts of the world on bespoke marine safaris that explore natural wonders in secluded privacy. A new cruise offers just this and is designed for small groups of both divers and non-divers to sail around Raja Ampat, Komodo and the Banda sea with an expert crew leading the exploration. As well as boasting its own separate dive boat, the main onboard experience includes gourmet cuisine, a five-star Asian spa, yoga classes, water sports and with its two-masted decks make for world class dining under the stars or for soaking up the landscape by day. Over in Oman, the newly launched Hud Hud Ibra, a 100-foot converted Dhow , can be chartered for day trips or for up to 7 nights, sleeping just 8 guests. Guests can experience the Daymaniyat Islands, a protected and off grid marine reserve and to see green turtles nesting, or sail to Bandar Khayran, an area for snorkelling, diving and water sports. This is a perfect combination with the camping in the ‘Empty Quarter’ surrounded by the iconic red sand dunes where very few tourists stay.
