Nobody does spas and wellness quite like the Asians, offering high levels of service and a range of treatments such as Ayurveda, detox, yoga, cupping, holistic healing and Chinese medicine. Having said that, we mustn’t forget the therapeutic waters of Iceland and Jordan or the steamy hammams in Morocco. Leave it to us to find you the perfect destination spa on a private island, under the sea or beneath the spiritual Himalayas. We also know a number of excellent independent gurus, instructors and therapists to help with revitalisation, weight loss, meditation, yoga, pilates, nutrition, fitness, beauty and stress relief.

Two of our favourite destination spas in India are Ananda and Shreyas. Shreyas is first and foremost a yoga retreat whilst Ananda takes its influence from the spiritual Himalayas and nearby Ganges. We also work with a number of hotels in India home to excellent spas and Ayurvedic treatments.
On the outskirts of Ubud lies the stunning Como Shambhala, after an initial consultation to structure your immersive wellbeing experience, take full advantage of the incredibly healthy but delicious cuisine. Many other hotels incorporate great spa experiences, of which Nihiwatu’s spa safari is arguably our favourite.
Head straight to the Dead Sea for high oxygen levels and mineral rich waters. Here there are a number of spas that take advantage of the natural surroundings to provide treatments such as mud bakes, dead sea mineral facials and numerous bathing experiences.
No visit to Morocco is complete without encountering a hammam. We know plenty of neighbourhood hammams if you wish to really embrace the culture, although most feel more comfortable in a private luxury hammam. Try the ‘royal hammam’ at Farnatchi Spa in Marrakech.
With so much choice in Thailand it is difficult to narrow it down, but it would be hard not to mention Chiva Som’s professionalism with over 150 treatments or the beachside Kamalaya for a slightly less intense wellness vibe.
Many of the Vietnamese beach hotels (Amanoi, Four Seasons Nam Hai, Six Senses Nihn Van Bay) have excellent spas and the Fusion Maia Da Nang offers an all-inclusive package to include 2 treatments every day.
