- Egypt in September offers hot weather, but the temperature is a little more moderate and is therefore a better time to explore ancient sites like the Pyramids and temples. The Red Sea coast provides excellent diving conditions. However, it can be hot in the desert regions, so pack accordingly. The El Gouna Film festival is generally aired this month.
- This is an excellent time to visit when daytime temperatures are comfortable and nights are cool, but you’re still guaranteed sun. The conditions are perfect for exploring chaotic Cairo or venturing into the desert. Snorkelling in the Red Sea offers excellent visibility. Abu Simbel’s Sun Festival is celebrated at the Abu Simbel Temple.
